YCC #13: Unveiling THE FENCE on Atlanta Beltline

  • Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall 684 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30312 United States (map)

YCC members and other devotees of Atlanta Celebrates Photography will gather this Friday afternoon to celebrate the installation of THE FENCE on the Atlanta Beltline, with a low-key tour by Sam Barzilay, Creative Director and Co-founder of Photoville. We will convene on Friday August 14th at 4pm on the Beltline at Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall for an informal tour and then finish with a cocktail or two on the patio at Ladybird.

The FENCE, now in its 4th year, includes a 1,250 foot-long outdoor photo installation of 40 photographers selected from around the world by an international panel of 40+ photography professionals (including ACP Executive Director Amy Miller and yours truly). Photoville is presented by United Photo Industries, a NY-based organization, bringing the photographic community together by presenting photography, installation and events in unique locations off the beaten path where the focus lies in content and is accessible to everyday people from all walks of life. This year THE FENCE will be displayed in Boston, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Houston.
